EFK Promo

About EVENFLOWERSKILL
The other side of midnight, a call to arms. A thirst for discotheque discordance and 12 shots of fortitude. Dressed to kill with deadly precision, for the death and the glory we will dance in the ashes that fall from the sky!

Spewing modern tales of revelry and revolution, evenflowerskill rouse the masses with a sonic palette ranging from intense hardcore beatdowns to decadent nu-jazz motions. Imagine Studio 54 meets CBGBs Tony Manero in a half-cut fistfight with Henry Rollins - and youre hurtling towards the hedonistic halfway house that is EFK.

Following the 2004 self-financed full-length debut Discordance evenflowerskill have cemented both their line-up and their ethos. Split Lips and Cocktails was the next logical step towards upping the ante and pushing the party spirit. Produced by Iain Wetherall (Beecher, Skindred), Split lips was a crushing technical riot, arrived via Every Time I Die, Refused, Poison the Well as well as Roni Size, Prince and James Brown. This stylistic fusion was emphasised by incendiary live shows where audience interaction and confrontation were key.

Flash-forward to 2007 where following the departure of vocalist Matt, guitarist Ryan and founder member Christoph (to the excellent ambient project Fossils) EFK have regrouped with the addition of the incredibly talented Helen on drums and Mark on vocal duties. The band have written new material, retaining the technical drive, aggression and diversity of early EFK, all the while pushing the ante. The band are in the process of laying down new tracks for a record due in Summer 07, and are in the process of re-establishing their reputation on the live circuit through shows throughout the UK.
