AC/DC Singer DAVE EVANS: New Video Interview 2007

Rockinbones.net has conducted an interview with original AC/DC frontman Dave Evans this past Saturday, September 22. Watch the 11-minute chat below.

Dave Evans recently inked a deal with Destroy All Records. The singer's current CD, "Sinner" — which originally came out in 2004 — will be made available on September 25 through all "proper" distribution channels.

Commented Evans, "It's good to be a part of a label that understands the artists' needs and wants as the principals of the company are musicians themselves. Destroy All Records seems to be appropriate for the 'King of all Bad Asses!!'"

A Destroy All Records spokesperson said in a statement, "We have been looking forward to adding a dynamic act and individual to our roster of artists."

Evans was a member of AC/DC from the band's inception in 1973 until 1974. Following his departure from AC/DC, Dave Evans formed the wild hedonistic rock band RABBIT, Melbourne '80s rock outfit DAVE EVANS AND THUNDER DOWN UNDER, and lastly DAVE EVANS AND HOT COCKEREL. Dave Evans has also toured as a solo act, and in 2004 released his current album, "Sinner", on Germany's Cultural Minority record label. In 2005, Dave Evans toured across Holland, Germany and Switzerland with the renowned southern rock band MOLLY HATCHET.

"Sinner", which was recorded in Newcastle, Australia and mixed in Germany, was originally issued internationally in February 2006 on Heart Attack Records.
