---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Paul Rodgers [a/k/a “The Voice”] has led three bands to worldwide success “FREE”, “BAD COMPANY” and “THE FIRM” as well as creating his own Grammy nominated solo career. He is probably the most talented musician on the planet today, a singer, songwriter and an incredible multi-instrument talent. Since 1968 Rodgers has written, recorded, produced and released 28 albums. One of them, his first solo album “Cutting Loose” released in 1984 was a solo performance in the truest sense, with Rodgers composing all the music and playing all the instruments, while writing and singing all the lyrics.
Born December 17, 1949 in Middlesbrough, England - Rodgers formed his first band FREE in 1968 and shot to fame two years later with the rock classic “All Right Now”. A number-one hit in over 20 countries. In 1973 together with guitarist Mick Ralphs he formed BAD COMPANY who in no uncertain terms left their distinctive stamp on modern rock, giving us hits like "Feel Like Making Love", "Can't Get Enough", "Shooting Star", "Bad Company", "Run With The Pack", "Rock and Roll Fantasy", "Seagull" to name but a few. The band enjoyed 9 years of superstardom including six platinum albums until in 1982 Rodgers left the band at the height of their fame to spend more time with his young family.
Since then Paul Rodgers has created a fantastic solo career, while teaming up with Jimmy Page [Led Zeppelin] to form THE FIRM who released two albums, both enjoying international success. Rodgers has through the years performed and recorded with Jeff Beck, Brain May, David Gilmour, Buddy Guy, Joe Walsh, Slash, Nils Lofgren, Charlie Watts, Bryan Adams, Motown's Sam Moore & The Four Tops and many more.
In 2004 Rodgers joined Mitch Mitchell [ex-Jimi Hendrix Experience], Billy Cox, Carlos Santana, Kid Rock's Kenny Olson, Alice in Chain's Jerry Cantrell, Double Trouble, Indigenous, Kenny Wayne Sheppard and blues legend Hubert Sumlin and performed 3 sold out tour dates in Seattle, Portland and San Francisco as "Experience Hendrix".
In 2005 Rodgers teamed up with rock legends Queen on sold out tours to North America and Japan. Later the same year Paul Rodgers and Queen released their first Live Double CD & DVD "Return of The Champions" recorded in Sheffield, England, featuring songs from Paul Rodgers' and Queen's catalogues.
2006 only got better with Rodgers being voted "A ROCK ICON" in Classic Rock Magazine by fellow Musicians. Rodgers also received the “THREE MILLION AWARD” from BMI for “All Right Now”, which passed three million radio airplays in the US. Fellow musicians have always referred to Rodgers as "The Voice". But Duke Fakir [THE FOUR TOPS] says, "Paul Rodgers is THE SOUL OF ROCK!"
